Our product has been tested for the past decade by some of the world’s most respected independent, third-party laboratories and testing agencies, and we are happy to provide this test data to all interested parties. BluWood International began under the much more generic name of New Wood Global Management in October 2006. It quickly purchased the rights, from WoodSmart Solutions Inc of Florida, to a vast majority of the global territory for a product which had originally gone by the name of “Perfect Barrier” but has since been changed to the more recognizable trade name “BluWood”.
Much of the test data that you see posted here on this site was performed on BluWood, the prototype of NexGenTM. This prototype was very successful, but like any product, upgrades have been made, including the changes that resulted in NexGenTM.
BluWood International is committed to ensuring that the products we market and sell are safe and non-toxic.
Per EPA regulations, the modifications that have been made to the original formulation do not require retesting. This is due to the fact that said changes did not alter the basis for the protection that the product provides.
